Giuseppe Platania is a researcher and founded Deltastudio in Turin in the early 1980s, providing executive search, negotiation, communication, and corporate training services to more than seventy Italian companies.
He also collaborated with leading consulting firms, including George S. May International, Atefos S.p.A., and Ateconsul, where he served as co-founder and Head of Consultants.
In 1994, he founded the "Scuola Internazionale di Comunicazione e Immagine" in Turin, specializing in neuro-linguistic programming, negotiation, and advanced communication techniques.
Since 1995, he has pursued advanced studies in the United States in communication, ericksonian hypnosis, and brief therapy with internationally recognized experts, including Jeffrey Zeig, Michael Yapko, Francine Shapiro, Albert Ellis, Robert Dilts, Stephen Gilligan, Stephen Lankton, Jay Haley, and Ernest Lawrence Rossi.
Certified as an NLP Trainer by the American Board of NLP (ABNLP) since 1996, he has trained and certified dozens of professionals while promoting advanced communication and coaching methodologies throughout Italy. In 1997, he founded and directed the first Italian Milton H. Erickson Institute of Turin, officially approved by the Milton H. Erickson Foundation.
In 1998, he developed the Laser-Assisted Ideodynamics® method, an innovative approach designed to address recurring negative memories, emotional trauma, and limiting behavioral patterns.
From 1999 to 2014, he was a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Since 2007, he has been actively involved in the development and promotion of professional coaching and has held memberships in both the Italian Association of Professional Coaches (AICP) and the Association for Coaching.
Since 2019, he has served as CEO and Partner of CoachingShapes, an Association for Coaching-accredited Coach Training Provider and an ABNLP Approved Institute, where he works as Master Coach, Mentor, Negotiation Trainer, and Director.
He is the author of books and articles on coaching, negotiation, communication, and NLP and has trained coaches, psychologists, and business professionals both in Italy and internationally.
His Ideodynamic Approach integrates strategic and generative coaching with creativity, optimism, and deep respect for each client's individual perspective.
A Shotokan Karate black belt since 1978, he trained under Master Masaru Miura and later continued his studies in the United States with Sensei Tsutomu Ohshima, one of the foremost direct students of Gichin Funakoshi. He is a CSEN-certified III Dan Karate Instructor and conducts advanced seminars for black belts focused on technical excellence and mental discipline.
In 2000, he obtained his Private Pilot Licence (PPL) in Biella, Italy.
In 2021, he further expanded his qualifications by obtaining a Category "A" Boating Licence in Savona, Italy, authorizing him to command sailing and motor vessels of up to 24 metres in length, with no restrictions on distance from the coast.
Since 2026, he has been a Certified Krav Maga Instructor with the Israeli Krav International organization, founded and directed by Israeli Master Moshe David Katz. He is also a Level 3 Instructor and holds the rank of 2nd Dan in Krav Maga, with European CSEN-CONI certification (Registration No. 111863).
Giuseppe Platania has also been recognized by the F.I.M.A. (Federation of Israeli Martial Arts) as Krav Maga Instructor, further strengthening his already extensive professional background in Martial Arts and Krav Maga.
Among the defining influences on his intellectual journey were his long-standing relationships with eminent figures such as Herbert von Karajan, Ernest Lawrence Rossi, Jay Haley, Francine Shapiro, and Gustavo Adolfo Rol, whom he had the privilege of knowing personally over many years. Their exchange of ideas and enduring personal association became a constant source of inspiration for his lifelong research into human evolution and the limitless potential of the human being. Rossella Ciriello is graduated in Clinical Psychology, with honours in Turin (Italy), in 2001.
She pursued her research in the field of Psychology in parallel with the work in her own practice and personnel selection/training consultancy at Adecco Italy. Since 2004, she has been a Member of the Order of Psychologists of Piedmont (Italy), registration number 111867, currently active. She dedicated herself to Neuro-Linguistic Programming, obtaining an international Master Practitioner certification, certified by ABNLP (ID: N32833), and to Coaching by attending Courses by Giuseppe Platania and lectures/seminars by Robert Dilts. She has been actively interested in Coaching since 2014, after a Robert Dilts' Seminar in Merano (Italy). At the same time, she practised Laser-Assisted Ideodynamics® and Brief-Therapy under the supervision of the Master Trainer Giuseppe Platania.
She is currently a Trainer of professional Life Coaches with a focus on the development of Generative Coaching. Since 2016, he has been actively interested in Negotiation and has attended international Trainings on this topic. She is a talented Negotiator and Negotiation Trainer within CoachingShapes, combining the psychological disciplines, of which she is very expert, with innovative 'Rapport Techniques' that foster a dialogue set on the values and interests of all parties involved in a Negotiation. She is currently an Associate Member of 'The Negotiation Society' and is a passionate promoter and Trainer of the ethics of 'Win-Win' Negotiation.
Since 2018, she has studied Supervision and Mentoring under the guidance of Master Coach Giuseppe Platania and then starting a collaboration with his Coaching Organisation.
Since 2019 she has been CEO of CoachingShapes and personally follows Coaching developments in Northern Italy. She has a remarkable ability to lead classes of Students towards the goal of deep learning about Coaching in all its forms and is also a Coach who is attentive and sensitive to the social changes and new needs that have arisen after the 2020-2022 pandemic. Her Supervision skill and technique, which she has practiced since 2020, offers Coaches an open and never directive discussion: on the contrary, she firmly believes in the freedom to use ‘powerful questions’ that elicit interesting and "creative answers" through which Students can identify confirmations or find new solutions.
In her little spare time, she is passionate about Sailing as a way of balancing her energy by "breathing air and sea”. In 2021, she obtained the italian boating license for vessels up to 24 meters in length, both sailing and motor-powered, with no distance limits from the coast. She also loves horse riding and practising Qi-Gong she learnt in 2019 from famous Headmasters Shi Heng Hy and Shi Heng Zuan at the ShaolinTemple Europe, in Otterberg (D).
